THE MISSION FIELD
about God's Calling
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (NIV)
about Our Availability
21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. 2 Timothy 2:21 (NIV)
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:15 (NIV).
This is the mean outreach thrust of our missionary work. Our team comprise of ministry staff and volunteer team. We put together by the grace of God a robust team, people of different professions, occupations, skills, nationalities and ethnicity, we move into a community and spend 3 days, one week, or two weeks, for as much as our resources can take. He spend the time making friendships, using our skills to serve the community while ministering Christ to them. We always leave the communities totally transformed. Our team consist of teachers, capenters, doctors, lawyers pastors, farmers, hairdressers and anyone who is willing to serve. Would you considering join us on one of those trips?
Visit of Inquiry
The First Step we take in planning for a Beautiful Feet Outreach is the VOI. Our first team travel to the community, make contacts, make new friends, get to know all levels of authority in the community and take an inventory of education, commerce, health facilities, security, and accommodation for the team that will come.
Excellent Plan and Prayer
The Second Step is analysing the data gathered from the VOI, proper planning and budgeting and Prayer. We put our faith to work as we talk to our partners and find all means of cutting cost. This Step ends with the team going back, making reservations accommodation, officially announcing to the public as well as inviting all levels of authority in the community
Perfect Execution of Outreach
Finally, the day is here. Before and and through the process, we stay in touch with our regular volunteers as well as scouting for new volunteers. People from all works of life, profession, occupation and our Vacation Missionaries. We take a trip and spend a period of time, depending the resources available and the leading of the Lord. Everyone uses their skill, talent, occupational and professional abilities to serve the community as well as present Christ with the goal of bringing them to salvation.
When all is said and done, the new believers are the fruit of our labour. They are no different from new born infants. What is next? Feeding, training and protecting. Our Discipleship Anchor and that department have developed a robust plan of follow-up and discipleship. Then finally, a Growth Centre is established. Feed them, train them & protect them.
